A VALUABLE SOURCE OF INFORMATION

Moor Trees has grown and planted over 100,000 native broadleaved trees around Dartmoor and South Devon.

We have access to woodlands which we have planted every year since the turn of the century, 2000!  This valuable resource allows us to study how a bare field transforms into a maturing woodland and understand the many ecological processes that drive this change.

Each year we survey a number of these woodlands and some of these survey results are presented below.
