Our Moor Trees tree dedications are thoughtful, environmentally friendly, and unique.

Every year, our volunteers plant thousands of native broadleaf woodland trees on Dartmoor and South Devon. These trees play a significant role in achieving our vision for Dartmoor, which looks wilder, with woodlands forming a mosaic of natural habitats across the landscape, helping to restore biodiversity, fight climate change, and connect people to their forest heritage.

WHERE WILL THE TREE(S) BE PLANTED?

 Unfortunately, due to the scale of tree planting, we’re unable to match dedications to specific trees. In order to keep our woods as natural as possible, trees are not marked or labelled in any way, nor is the area of dedication marked on the ground. Please be aware that many of the trees we plant may be on private land so there is no guarantee of public access in the future.

Your dedicated tree will become a vital part of a thriving woodland ecosystem, creating a home for wildlife and preserving nature for generations to come.

Moor Trees cannot be specific about the site on which dedicated trees will be planted as we plant thousands of trees each winter. Our team of volunteers will plant the trees for you, however, if you wish to join in and help plant the trees then you would be very welcome. This takes place every winter from mid-November to end of March and includes regular Sunday volunteer sessions.
